Bratislava Opera house is located in the city center. Up to six times in week you can enjoy performance of classical European opera master-pieces in original language. Bratislava Night LifeBratislava disco clubs have usually open already since late afternoon, even the real party starts only after 10 PM. Clubs get very crowded at weekends at that time and it lasts until 2 AM. Best days to visit the dance floors are Friday and Saturday, the Wednesday and Thursday night are also not bad. Majority of good dance clubs is located in the city center. Cirkus Barok [in Slovak] - located on ship on Danube in city center, opened daily from 10 AM to 04 AM and on weekends to 6 AM. Krater Club [in Slovak] - located in city center on Vysoka street, opened on Thursday from 9 PM to 3 AM and on Friday and Saturday from 9 PM to 5 AM. Thursdays - Strip party, Fridays - Party night with topless waitress, Saturdays - Gay party. Hysteria Pub [in Slovak] - located 2 km from center, in the Ice Stadium building, just 300 meters from Hotel Turist. During day and early night probably best Mexican restaurant in Bratislava, on Friday and Saturday nights wild discos location. Opened daily 11 AM to 2 AM, on Fridays and Saturdays till 5 AM. Another good place to enjoy real Bratislava nightlife is Klub Laverna at SNP square in city center. Even the entrance is obscure, there is two stories disco bar and as one of few discos it is fully airconditioned. Opened daily 9 PM to 6 AM. Bratislava PubsBeer rules in Bratislava Pubs. Even by tradition Bratislava is a city of wine, with the vineyards being just 2 km from the castle, in every pub you can choose from two or three beer brands, majority of them are Slovak, Czech or Dutch origin, and some German or Mexican beers are served in bottles.
